Information BriefMe collects

  • Account data such as name, email address, job title, phone number, authentication details, and workspace activity tied to a user account.
  • Uploaded borrower or business documents such as bank statements, supporting PDFs, and related application files provided by users.
  • AI analysis outputs such as extracted draft income rows, document summaries, risk flags, cash-flow observations, reviewer notes, and saved workpaper data.
  • Usage and log data such as sign-in events, page activity, feature usage, error logs, device/browser metadata, and approximate timestamps used to operate and improve the service.

How data is used

  • To provide the document review workspace, intake, upload, analysis, note-taking, and saved review functionality requested by users.
  • To support human review workflows by organizing documents, preparing draft AI-assisted outputs, and preserving reviewer edits and decisions.
  • To troubleshoot issues, monitor reliability, improve usability, prevent abuse, and secure the application.
  • To communicate with users about account access, support requests, product updates, and security matters.

Human review and lending decisions

BriefMe is a software tool for document organization and AI-assisted review. It does not approve or deny loans. Users are responsible for human review, validation, and compliance with applicable lending and privacy requirements.

Service providers

BriefMe may use service providers for hosting, authentication, database, private storage, AI processing, analytics, logging, email, and support. These providers process data only as needed to deliver, secure, and support the product.

No sale of personal data

BriefMe does not sell personal data. Customer documents and borrower data are handled to provide the product and support requested workflows.

Data deletion and contact

Users can request deletion of account data and uploaded documents by contacting support@briefme.ai. Include the account email, application or business name, and enough detail for us to locate the records. Legal, contractual, security, or backup retention limits may apply.
